Below is the privacy policy for the www.ecofred.com website.

Data provided or gathered by ECOFRED

ECOFRED gathers two kinds of data on its users:

(a) Personal data: provided voluntarily by users when requesting information or products or when taking part in promotions. This information includes data that are or may be associated with the identity of a natural person.

(b) Browsing data: automatically gathered when visiting the website and cannot be associated with the identity of a natural person.

Personal data

Personal data is gathered in the following ways:

(a) Users registering to receive the newsletter are asked for personal details, such as name, e-mail address and other contact details.

(b) Other information: visitors to the www.ecofred.com website may also be asked to enter personal data on occasions other than registration, such as when requesting product catalogues from ECOFRED or asking for sales information. ECOFRED may keep a record of user correspondence. Whenever ECOFRED gathers personal data, it will make an effort to include this Privacy Policy on the relevant page.

Processing of personal details and sending of communications by electronic means are subject to the legislation established by Spanish Organic Act 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data (Spanish Official Gazette 14/12/1999) and by Act 34/2002, of 11 July, on the Information Society and E-Commerce Services (Spanish Official Gazette 12/07/2002).

(c) E-mail: users of e-mail news services may receive regular updates by e-mail containing selected news items and product information, together with announcements and hyperlinks to the www.ecofred.com website. Users wishing to unsubscribe from the mailing list for one or more of these updates may do so at any time.

Protection of personal data

Personal data is included in a file held by ECOFRED.

This data is protected by Spain's personal data protection legislation. Users affected by these data may exercise their right to challenge, access, rectify and, if applicable, delete the data held on file as established in the aforementioned legislation. Personal data may only be assigned to third parties on the consent of the affected party, on request by the affected party of a service provided by a third party or under the circumstances established in the applicable legislation.

Browsing data

This data is obtained automatically without personal intervention by users and is not associated with personal data. ECOFRED is not able to gather personalised browsing data and currently uses cookies to gather non-personalised information. Advertisers on the www.ecofred.com website may employ proprietary cookies over which ECOFRED has no authority and for which ECOFRED does not accept liability. Users clicking on advertisements on the www.ecofred.com website are advised to read the advertiser's privacy policy before proceeding.

Use of data

ECOFRED uses the data obtained to improve users' experience of the www.ecofred.com website and to market its products and services. ECOFRED does not rent or sell its subscribers' and users' personal data to third parties. ECOFRED will not disclose personal data to third parties except when it considers in good faith that the law so requires or when the user's consent has been given. The data obtained are used to produce value-added reports on user profiles and website traffic patterns. These reports are issued to our advertisers and partners to help them improve their advertising campaigns. None of the information provided to advertisers or partners can be related to individual users' identities or other personal data.

Data correction

Without prejudice to users' rights regarding personal data protection, ECOFRED offers users the opportunity to correct or update personal data by e-mail (info@ecofred.com), in writing (address provided in the legal notice) or by telephone (+34 93 586 20 14).

Subscription cancellation

Registered users can unsubscribe from services at any time by sending an e-mail to info@ecofred.com requesting removal from ECOFRED's files, by writing to the address given in the legal notice or by telephoning (+34) 93 586 20 14 during office hours.
